Above The Clouds II (Heartland)

Over the American heartland, clouds gather in dense formations—a study in whites, creams, and soft grays building across the canvas. The composition divides between the weight of cloud mass in the upper portion and glimpses of earth below, where muted shadows dot the farmland.

The palette is restrained but layered: warm whites catching light, cooler grays under the clouds creating depth and shadow, touches of ochre and sage where land emerges. The textured surface captures the density and movement of weather systems passing over the plains.
