This is my latest Barcelona cityscape. I spent a magical week there in 2012, and this scene of the Sagrada Familia rising above the city captured my imagination. I knew I would paint it some day.. The golden light washing over the city reminds me of the warm, Mediterranean weather especially on a cold, wintery day here in New Mexico.
