During 100 days of guided creative coaching in 2020, I, along with my cohort of 5 other artists, created art every day. For the first 2/3 of the 100 days, the art was guided by a theme or a prompt which guided that days creative activity. During the last 1/3 of the course, the training wheels were off and we were empowered to create freely. This is a sample of some of what I made. Each is 16x20 inches, oil pastel on paper and signifies a new chapter in my own art making process. Stay tuned…this will be interesting!

Scenes from the "Town & Country" Exhibit, May 3–12, 2019
When a show comes together, the feeling is hard to beat. And the positive reaction of all the guests opening night and beyond remain one of the prime reasons we artists keep doing what we do.
Click through the images below to see the mix of towns and country scenes painted in very different ways between myself and fellow exhibiting artist, Jonathan Keeton. It’s sad to see the show go, but the memories (and pictures) remain.
